The Judd Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to preserving artist Donald Judd’s legacy, has filed a lawsuit against Kim Kardashian in a California federal court.
The suit claims that a YouTube video she posted featured fake versions of Judd’s furniture, mislabeled as authentic.
Kardashian’s skincare company allegedly hired a design firm to make furniture resembling Judd’s style for its offices, which Kardashian then showcased in the video.
The foundation accuses Kardashian of false endorsement and the design firm of false advertising and trademark infringement.
Despite requests to rectify the situation, both parties allegedly refused, prompting the lawsuit.
