Actress Deborah Reed, renowned for her role as the “Goblin Queen” in the ’90s cult film Troll 2, passed away at the age of 73 on November 18, surrounded by family at her home.
The cause was complications of cancer, as stated in a Facebook post by her family.
Reed, born in 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah, displayed a passion for entertainment from a young age, eventually establishing herself in musical theater and later joining the McCarty Agency in 1980.
Known for her portrayal of Creedence Leonore Gielgud in Troll 2, Reed took a hiatus from acting in the late ’90s.
She later worked as Executive Assistant to U.S. Congressman Merrill Cook and ventured into multimedia production with her husband, Randy Holman.
Reed is survived by her children, Gavin and Remington Reed, grandchildren Moss and Zoey, and former husbands Peter Anderegg and Philip Reed.
Her funeral is scheduled for November 25.
