In 1974, Glynn Simmons was wrongly convicted of murdering Carolyn Sue Rogers at an Oklahoma liquor store.
After nearly 50 years in prison, he was exonerated in July due to withheld evidence.
Oklahoma County District Judge Amy Palumbo officially declared his innocence, making Simmons the longest-imprisoned exoneree in US history.
Despite his release, Simmons relies on donations and may pursue compensation through a GoFundMe campaign and potential legal action against Oklahoma City and authorities involved in his wrongful arrest and conviction.
