A British Airways crew member tragically collapsed and passed away on duty during the London Heathrow to Hong Kong flight.
The 52-year-old steward’s collapse occurred in the rear galley just before departure.
Despite immediate first aid and the captain’s call for medical help, the crew member could not be resuscitated.
The New Year’s Eve flight was subsequently canceled, leaving passengers devastated.
