The WWE faced turmoil as a former employee filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, accusing him of sex trafficking and abuse.
Responding to the allegations, Slim Jim withdrew its sponsorship from the Royal Rumble event.
Slim Jim stated, “Given the recent disturbing allegations against Vince McMahon, we’ve decided to pause our promotional activities with WWE, reflecting our commitment to integrity and respect.”
Additionally, Sean Ross Sapp reported that another potential sponsor, whose name was not disclosed, lost interest in partnering with WWE.
On Friday, Vince McMahon officially resigned from his position as Executive Chairman of TKO.
