Killer Mike faced arrest shortly after his appearance at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, being charged with misdemeanor battery.
The LAPD stated it was related to a physical altercation in the nearby area, with TMZ reporting that Mike knocked down a security officer who refused to move.
Despite the arrest, he had a triumphant night, winning all three award categories he was nominated in, including Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance for “Scientists & Engineers,” and Best Rap Album for his project “Michael.”
