Mish, the renowned singer of “Akwa Ibom Ayaya,” passed away in Abuja on Thursday, as confirmed by a family member.
The cause of his death remains undisclosed.
Originally named Michael Aniekeme Meshach, Mish gained fame in 2011 with his hit song that resonated with the Ibibio and Efik ethnic groups.
Despite early success, his subsequent album “Made In Nigeria” struggled to capture public attention in 2017, raising doubts about his ability to replicate the success of “Akwa Ibom Ayaya.”
