Nigeria’s authorities have slated Monday, February 26, for the resumption of legal proceedings against Nnamdi Kanu linked to the Indigenous Assembly of Biafra (IAB).
The decision stems from a judiciary ruling on December 15, 2023, granting permission to proceed with specific charges.
The trial will take place before Justice Binta Nyako at the Federal High Court in Abuja, with both the defense counsel and the Attorney General’s Office duly notified.
Despite previous twists, the Supreme Court, on December 15, 2023, reinstated the trial on remaining charges, emphasizing adherence to legal procedures despite the controversial circumstances of the accused’s return to Nigeria.
