While many eagerly anticipated Jennifer Lopez’s new musical film, “This Is Me…Now: A Love Story,” coinciding with the release of her ninth studio album, Ben Affleck seemed to be an exception.
The 51-year-old actor, reportedly “scared” about the 65-minute movie’s release on February 16th, feared it might negatively impact his career, especially since he appears alongside J-Lo in the film.
Affleck expressed concerns to friends, fearing it could be reminiscent of their criticized 2003 movie “Gigli,” and he’s now apprehensive, believing he may have made a significant mistake getting involved.
Despite mixed reviews online, with some praising the emotional journey and others harshly criticizing it, Affleck’s reservations about the film’s reception appear validated.
