Just days prior to his scheduled concert in Minneapolis, Bad Bunny, the reggaeton sensation, abruptly called off his performance at the Target Center.
The Grammy-winning Puerto Rican artist disappointed fans who had eagerly awaited his show on Saturday.
Target Center promptly removed the event from its website, with Ticketmaster, the official ticket distributor, following suit in announcing the cancellation.
“Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event,” Ticketmaster’s announcement stated, assuring fans that refunds would be automatically processed within 30 days to the original payment method.
Among the disappointed fans was Bella Gurciullo, who had secured four tickets for herself, her boyfriend, and his two sons.
Despite the option to attend Bad Bunny’s upcoming shows in Miami, Gurciullo preferred a refund, especially since she’s five months pregnant and traveling poses challenges.
For many Minnesota fans, this cancellation was a letdown, as Bad Bunny’s last performance in the Twin Cities was in 2018, leaving them waiting years for another chance to see him live.
Regarding ticket refunds, Ticketmaster clarified that refunds would be issued to the original purchaser for tickets obtained through verified resale channels.
Gurciullo emphasized the importance of understanding the terms and conditions when purchasing tickets online.
As of now, Bad Bunny has remained silent on the cancellation, leaving fans uncertain about the possibility of a rescheduled show. Ticket prices for the Minneapolis concert ranged from $100 to $1,100 for early entry packages.
Bad Bunny’s tour continues, with his next performance scheduled in Kansas City on March 26, followed by three shows in Chicago at the United Center Arena.
