Renowned Nollywood actor Zulu Adigwe has passed away, as confirmed in an Instagram post by movie producer Stanley Nwoko.
In the post, Nwoko expressed regret over the veteran actor’s demise, stating, “I regret to announce the passing of a veteran actor, late Zulu Adigwe. What caused his death is yet to be reviewed. Rest in peace, good actor.”
Zulu Adigwe was well-known for his roles in popular films such as “Living in Bondage” and “Breaking Free.”
His death follows a recent tragedy in the Nollywood community, where Junior Pope and three other actors lost their lives in a boat accident on the Anam River in Anambra State.
Zulu Adigwe was celebrated for his portrayal of fatherly characters in Nollywood productions and notably played Mr. B in the sitcom “Basi and Company.” Additionally, he featured in the 2019 film “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free.”
Born in Enugu, Adigwe later relocated to Austria, where he completed his primary and secondary education.
