Taking to social media, the acclaimed star hinted at the return of the beloved character Jenifa.
In an Instagram post, Funke teased fans, saying, “It’s been a while since you’ve seen Jenifa,” suggesting the hilarious character’s comeback.
“Everybody Loves Jenifa” is a key part of the Jenifa franchise, known for its amusing adventures featuring the naive yet endearing character.
The franchise began in 2008 with the original film “Jenifa,” followed by the successful sequel “Return of Jenifa” in 2011.
The Jenifa universe has expanded with spin-offs like “Aiyetoro Town” (2019, 18 episodes) and “Jenifa on Lockdown” (2021), captivating audiences further.
