Actor Ian Gelder, known for his role as Kevan Lannister on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” has passed away at the age of 74.
His partner and fellow actor Ben Daniels shared the news of Gelder’s death on Tuesday via Instagram.
“With immense sadness and a shattered heart, I am posting to announce the passing of my beloved husband and life partner Ian Gelder.
Ian was diagnosed with bile duct cancer in December, and yesterday he peacefully passed away at 13.07.
I had halted all work to care for him, but neither of us anticipated how swiftly it would unfold,” Daniels wrote.
