Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu has resumed his duties at the presidential villa in Abuja after a two-week foreign trip, as announced by the Presidency on Thursday.
A 27-second video was released by the Presidency, showing President Tinubu walking with a group of at least 15 aides towards his office at the villa. The video was shared by Dada Olusegun, Special Assistant to the President on Social Media.
In the caption accompanying the video, it was mentioned that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to his desk in the morning and received briefings from HM Bosun Tijani, NCC EVC, and HM Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, at the State House.
Despite the announcement of his return on state-owned television NTA on Wednesday, there was a notable absence of visual media capturing the event.
Over the past year, under Tinubu’s leadership, his aides and presidency officials have regularly shared images and videos of his arrivals and departures at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
These occasions typically involve top government officials bidding farewell or welcoming the president.
President Tinubu had embarked on a trip over two weeks ago, initially meeting with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte before proceeding to Saudi Arabia to participate in a special World Economic Forum (WEF) event. Following the summit, he continued his travels in Europe.
