Twitter has officially disappeared from all aspects of the app and website.
As of early Friday, visitors to Twitter.com encountered a pop-up box announcing that the X.com domain change has been completed, marking the final step in phasing out Twitter’s legacy.
Elon Musk shared the update on X, stating, “All core systems are now on X.com.” His post featured a new X layout alongside the new domain, which many speculate could soon become the official branding for X.
Currently, the X app and website sport a black theme, but a white and blue color scheme reminiscent of Twitter’s old style might be introduced. Whether this change will be implemented remains to be seen.
#No More Block Feature on X
Elon Musk acquired Twitter with the intention of transforming the platform’s dynamics and scope. Although he renamed Twitter to X, users were still directed to the Twitter.com domain until now. Musk has finally secured the X.com domain, which is now live.
Despite the domain change, many users continue to refer to it as Twitter, a name ingrained in social media history. One user remarked that the X era has begun.
Musk has redefined X, expanding it beyond a social media app. The platform now supports video and audio calls, long posts, and even offers access to the AI chatbot Grok for premium users.
