In another legal setback for Sean Combs, a former model has filed a lawsuit claiming she was promised career advancement in exchange for sexual favors.
Crystal McKinney alleges that she met Combs, also known as Diddy, during the 2003 Men’s Fashion Week in New York City, where he invited her to his studio.
McKinney, then 22, stated that Combs and his colleagues were consuming alcohol and marijuana at the studio. She took a hit, which she described as “very powerful,” suspecting it might have been laced with another drug.
According to the lawsuit, Combs allegedly ordered McKinney to follow him into the bathroom, where he forcibly kissed her and pushed her head towards his crotch, demanding oral sex.
McKinney claims she refused but was forced to perform oral sex on Combs. She later lost consciousness and woke up in a taxi, realizing she had been sexually assaulted.
The lawsuit does not clarify if McKinney was referring to the forced oral sex or another act that may have occurred while she was unconscious.
Following the incident, McKinney claims she was blacklisted from the modeling industry and blamed herself for sabotaging her career, leading to a suicide attempt in 2004 and subsequent hospitalization.
Inspired by lawsuits from Cassie Ventura and others, McKinney decided to come forward with her story.
