Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs faces a lawsuit from former fashion student April Lampros, accusing him of multiple instances of sexual assault between 1995 and the early 2000s.
The allegations come shortly after Combs took responsibility for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel in 2016, as seen on CCTV footage.
In this new lawsuit, the seventh in six months, Lampros claims she met Combs in 1994 while a college student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. According to the federal complaint filed in New York City, Combs pursued her aggressively after initially “love-bombing” her.
The lawsuit alleges that Combs assaulted Lampros in various incidents, including rape and coercive sexual acts. It details an incident in 1995 where Combs allegedly forced himself on her after pressuring her to drink alcohol. The lawsuit also describes a second assault where Combs allegedly physically forced Lampros to perform oral sex.
Another incident described in the lawsuit occurred in 1996, where Combs allegedly sexually assaulted Lampros while she was with his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter, after coercing them to take ecstasy and engage in sexual acts together.
Lampros claims she ended the relationship in 1998, but alleges that Combs continued to harass her, even allegedly showing a sexual video of her without her knowledge.
The lawsuit was filed under a New York City law that allows for civil litigation during a limited window, regardless of when the alleged events occurred.
