A model died in Mexico after her clothes got caught in a high-speed train during a photoshoot.
Cinthya Nayeli Higareda Bermejo, 30, was posing near train tracks when she was pulled into the train’s path.
The Venezuelan model intended to have the fast-moving train in the background but stood too close.
Emergency services in Zacoalco de Torres near Guadalajara confirmed Bermejo’s death at the scene. Her body was taken for an autopsy before being returned to her family for burial.
Police have interviewed witnesses involved in the photoshoot.
Jalisco State prosecutor JoaquÃn Méndez Ruiz stated that the victim was participating in a photoshoot when she got too close to the passing train, which pulled her clothes and caused her death.
The investigation is ongoing.
