Nigerian artist David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has announced his upcoming wedding to his partner, Chioma Rowland Adeleke.
According to recent reports, singer and chef Chioma will have a traditional wedding ceremony on June 25, 2024, in Lagos.
In a viral video from Tuesday, Davido confirmed the news, saying, “Guys, you have to come to Nigeria on the 25th of June for my wedding.”
In a recent interview, Davido spoke openly about his relationship with Chioma, revealing they were friends before Chioma gained fame. He expressed gratitude for meeting her during that period, reflecting on how difficult it would be for him to date now, fearing women might only be interested in his wealth or status.
Davido emphasized the importance of authenticity in his inner circle, noting that true success for him lies in maintaining relationships with those who supported him from the beginning.
The couple, who tragically lost their son Ifeanyi in 2022, welcomed twins in the United States in October 2023.
