President Bola Tinubu has approved a new minimum wage of N70,000 for Nigerian workers and has pledged to review the national minimum wage law every three years.
The announcement was made by Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information, during a meeting with labor leaders at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting included Comrade Joe Ajaero from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Festus Usifo from the Trade Union Congress (TUC), and other union representatives.
