Jagged Edge’s Brandon Casey is recovering after a severe car accident.
Casey, who performs with his twin brother Brian in the R&B group, shared on social media that he’s receiving treatment at Grady Memorial Hospital’s trauma center in Atlanta following significant injuries sustained on Thursday.
He expressed deep gratitude for the care he’s received, acknowledging the trauma center’s exceptional reputation and the support of the medical staff.
At 48, Casey also described his injuries, which include a broken neck, five fractured ribs, a skull fracture, and scalp lacerations, alongside considerable pain throughout his body. He remains optimistic, attributing his survival to divine intervention and expressing his commitment to recover. Casey had previously survived another severe car crash in September.
Jagged Edge, which includes the Caseys, Kyle Norman, and Richard Wingo, formed in 1995 and achieved success with hits like “Let’s Get Married” and “Where the Party At.” They released their 10th studio album, *A Jagged Love Story*, in 2020 and are still active on tour.
