Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation, revealed this to select State House correspondents after meeting with the President. He appealed to the organizers to postpone the protest and wait for the President’s response to their grievances.
“We discussed the state of the country, and Mr. President has asked me to inform Nigerians that he listens to them, especially the young people planning to protest.”
