Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, is set to host a new game show titled “Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?”, a modern version of “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?”.
The show will premiere on Prime Video on October 16, as announced in a joint Instagram post by Kelce, Prime Video, and Amazon MGM Studios.
Kelce, confirmed as the host on April 16, had been in discussions since March about this “celebrity-focused” reboot.
Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion and prominent NFL star, has gained significant fame, even hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ and featuring in various commercials.
This new show continues the trend of NFL stars hosting game show reboots, similar to Michael Strahan and Peyton Manning.
Kelce is entering his 12th NFL season, currently under a four-year, $57.25 million contract.
