Travis Scott was arrested in Paris on Friday following an altercation with his bodyguard, as reported by multiple sources.
The 33-year-old rapper was detained at a luxury hotel after an incident involving a security guard who intervened to break up a fight between Scott and his bodyguard at the George V hotel.
The Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed that Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, was arrested for assaulting the guard, and the case has been forwarded to the judicial police.
Earlier, Scott had attended a basketball semifinal between Team USA and Serbia.
He had also been arrested in Miami on June 20 for disorderly intoxication and trespassing, with his lawyer attributing the incident to a misunderstanding.
