American rapper Nicki Minaj has declared on Twitter that Nigeria won’t be the end of her. This remark came as she reacted to the NFL’s choice of Kendrick Lamar as the headline performer for the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans.
Minaj, believing that Lil Wayne, the head of Young Money Records and her mentor, would have been a more fitting choice due to his connection with New Orleans and influence on hip hop, expressed her views strongly.
In a playful response to critics, Minaj joked that “Nigeria won’t end me,” quoting Ayra Starr’s song “Comma” to show her Nigerian side. She added, “LMFAOOOO. Nigeria will not end me o! Sabi girl no dey too like talk My words take the express elevator to the most high chi. I will show them pepper.”
