Nigerian activist and social commentator, Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has threatened legal action against the Lord’s Chosen Church following a series of what he describes as deceptive testimonies from church members.
VDM has urged the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to investigate, accusing the church of misleading its congregation with exaggerated claims.
His concerns were triggered by a viral testimony where a woman claimed to have disarmed four armed robbers, seizing what she referred to as an “AK-27,” a mistake the church’s pastor later corrected to AK-47.
In a video posted on Youtube, VDM voiced his frustration over the increasingly bizarre testimonies, questioning the church’s narratives saying, this nonsense needs to stop. Now they’re even claiming to have spiritual iron in their heads? All these Chosen members…”
VDM called for immediate intervention, warning that he is ready to pursue legal action to address what he sees as the church’s manipulation of unsuspecting believers.
