In the midst of the controversy over a viral audio recording he released, Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, announced that he has met with Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Minister of Interior.
VeryDarkMan had released an audio which featured allegations from Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, claiming he bribed unidentified operatives from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with N15 million to dismiss money laundering charges against him.
Bobrisky also alleged that he paid off the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) to evade serving his jail sentence. Following these claims, the Nigerian government suspended two NCoS officials.
In a Facebook video posted on Thursday, VeryDarkMan expressed his satisfaction with the suspension of the prison officers, emphasizing the need to improve Nigeria. He stated, “The honorable minister of interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, you have proven yourself to me before, and I was just relaxed watching when you did it again with the suspension of some officers involved in this whole Bobrisky saga. Much love, Egbon; it’s a fight to make Nigeria a better place, and we will succeed with our efforts. Keep that fire burning. We have exchanged ideas, and I believe in you for now because, as a politician, you could bring change. For now, you are the guy. God bless you; I love you, Egbon.”
