The FBI has arrested an Afghan man, Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, in Oklahoma City for allegedly planning a terrorist attack on Election Day in support of ISIS.
Tawhedi, along with co-conspirators including his juvenile brother-in-law, reportedly took steps to carry out the attack, such as selling their home, purchasing firearms, and planning to relocate their families abroad.
FBI investigators claim Tawhedi viewed ISIS propaganda and contributed to a charity suspected of funding ISIS.
After acquiring AK-47 rifles, Tawhedi and his brother-in-law were arrested, with Tawhedi admitting to plans of targeting large crowds on Election Day.
