Grammy-winning artist Muni Long reflects on her journey to solo stardom in a Video Music Awards feature lasting 5 minutes and 26 seconds.
The 67th Grammy Award nominations have also been revealed, showcasing a list of top musicians who will compete for awards at the ceremony in February. Leading the nominations is Beyoncé, with a total of 11 nods for her country album “Cowboy Carter.” With this, Beyoncé has become the most-nominated artist in Grammy history, boasting 99 career nominations.
Beyoncé is among five artists nominated in all three major categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. Other artists in these top categories include Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter. Roan and Carpenter are also up for Best New Artist, placing them in all four general categories.
Following Beyoncé, Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Charli XCX each have seven nominations, while Swift, Roan, and Carpenter each received six. The Beatles also received a surprise Record of the Year nomination for “Now and Then,” a track created with AI blending both new and archival music from the band.
To announce the nominees, “CBS Mornings” host Gayle King joined Grammy winners Kylie Minogue, Victoria Monét, Hayley Williams, Grammy-nominated comedian Jim Gaffigan, and others.
The Grammy Awards will take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 2, 2025, and will air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, with performances from several nominees expected.
