Ray J has revealed that several celebrities, fearing their connections to Sean “Diddy” Combs, are allegedly offering money to accusers to silence them, as part of a “catch and kill” strategy.
In a recent TMZ documentary, the R&B singer, who is friends with Combs, shared that well-known figures have been contacting him after rumors surfaced about their involvement in Combs’ so-called “Freak-Off” sex parties.
The 43-year-old singer claimed, “I’m hearing artists paying victims to keep their names out of it.” He further explained that the practice of paying someone to stay quiet, or “catch and kill,” is common in the industry. “For the regular world, somebody has a truth, somebody pays you to keep it quiet, and hopefully that money secures your happiness while the lie continues to thrive,” he added.
When asked if women were approaching celebrities with ultimatums, Ray J suggested that it was actually the celebrities who were approaching alleged victims first, trying to prevent the truth from coming out.
