Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have unveiled a new song in the trailer for Back in Action, an upcoming film starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz.
Released on November 14, the one-and-a-half-minute clip includes a preview of an unnamed track from the iconic West Coast rappers, who are set to drop a collaborative album titled Missionary next month. It’s uncertain whether the song is part of Missionary or if it’s intended for the Back in Action soundtrack.
The film follows Foxx and Diaz as former CIA agents who are pulled back into the world of espionage after their cover is compromised.
Back in Action, which debuts on Netflix on January 17, marks Cameron Diaz’s return to acting after a decade-long break.
The movie was also the project Jamie Foxx was working on when he was hospitalized for an undisclosed medical issue last April.
The duo previously starred together in Any Given Sunday and Annie.
The trailer for Back in Action comes just after Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre released their lead single “Gorgeous” from Missionary, featuring Jhené Aiko.
The album will also feature collaborations with major artists like Eminem, 50 Cent, Method Man, Jelly Roll, Sting, and Tom Petty.
