Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has dismissed rumors claiming he and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, are planning an extravagant wedding in Aspen next weekend. Calling the reports “completely false,” Bezos criticized the media for spreading unsubstantiated claims.
“This entire story is fabricated—none of it is happening,” Bezos stated. He added, “The old saying, ‘don’t believe everything you read,’ holds truer today than ever before. Lies now travel faster than the truth.”
Speculation suggested the couple would exchange vows at actor Kevin Costner’s Aspen ranch, followed by a lavish reception at Matsuhisa, a high-end sushi restaurant reportedly reserved for 180 guests. Bezos, however, firmly denied these allegations, stressing that no wedding plans are set for the suggested dates or location.
Although the couple has not revealed any specific timeline for their wedding, Lauren Sanchez has hinted at preparations, sharing that she’s been exploring dress options.
Despite growing curiosity, Bezos remains committed to addressing misinformation about his private life.
