The 2025 NFL Honors delivered thrilling competition, record-breaking performances, and unforgettable moments. The league paused to celebrate the standout players of the 2024 season at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans, just days before the Super Bowl.
Josh Allen was named NFL MVP, leading the Buffalo Bills to a 13-4 record and their fifth consecutive AFC East title. He threw for 41 total touchdowns, just six interceptions, and recorded the league’s best QBR (77.3) with a 101.4 passer rating. Allen edged out Lamar Jackson, securing 27 first-place votes to Jackson’s 23, making him only the third player in history to win MVP without a First-Team All-Pro selection.
Other major winners included Saquon Barkley, who dominated the Offensive Player of the Year race with a 2,005-yard rushing season, and Patrick Surtain II, who won Defensive Player of the Year after allowing just 37 receptions all season.
Joe Burrow claimed Comeback Player of the Year, bouncing back from a wrist injury to lead the league with 4,918 passing yards and 43 touchdowns.
Jayden Daniels was named Offensive Rookie of the Year, throwing for 3,568 yards, 25 touchdowns, and rushing for 891 yards, while Jared Verse earned Defensive Rookie of the Year honors with 4.5 sacks, 77 quarterback pressures, and 18 QB hits.
