Grammy-winning artist Michael Bolton, 71, has canceled an upcoming concert as he continues his battle with brain cancer.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Bolton shared that he needs more time to recover from recent brain surgery, leading to the cancellation of his July 5 concert at London’s O2 Arena.
Expressing his disappointment, Bolton thanked fans for their unwavering support, saying, “I am so grateful to have the most supportive fans in the world.” He first revealed his diagnosis in January 2024, explaining that he underwent emergency surgery for a brain tumor just before the holidays.
Bolton has been keeping fans updated on his recovery, stating in March that he was “healing well and improving every day.” In October, he had already postponed performances, saying he wasn’t fully ready to return to the stage but was eager to perform again.
With a career spanning decades and over 75 million albums sold, Bolton released two albums in 2023, Spark of Light and Christmas Time.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!
