Lil Wayne’s on-again, off-again girlfriend, Denise Bidot, has accused the rapper of physical abuse and of breaking up with her via text on Mother’s Day. In a series of Instagram Stories posted on May 11, the 38-year-old model expressed her shock and hurt, saying Wayne kicked her and her daughter out of their home while she was still recovering from recent surgery.
“Breaking up with someone on Mother’s Day is diabolical,” she wrote, adding that she couldn’t lift boxes due to her recovery. In a video, she claimed Wayne sent assistants to remove her from their home and ended the relationship over text. Her daughter appeared in the background, nodding in agreement.
Bidot also said she was seeking legal help and alleged Wayne had a history of abusive behavior, stating, “This man has actually laid a f—ing hand on me… and I took it.” She added that she knew of other women who had experienced similar treatment. Reps for Lil Wayne have not yet responded to the allegations.
Bidot and Wayne first went public with their relationship in 2020 and have had an on-and-off romance since then.
