Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has announced that he has obtained a 10-year work visa for Canada.
He shared the news in a viral Instagram video on Friday, where he proudly displayed his visa and expressed his excitement about the chance to perform internationally.
In the video, Portable enthusiastically stated, “Alhamdulilahi CEO DR ZEHNATION Going to Canada. Going and coming 10 years working permit,” reflecting his eagerness for this new phase in his career. This achievement is especially significant for Portable, given his previous difficulties with visa applications.
In a 2022 interview with Echo Room, he disclosed that he had been denied a U.S. visa five times, which he attributed to his presentation.
