Two men with Nigerian names have been convicted of multiple rapes by the Northampton Crown Court in the UK.
The court’s decision reflects the gravity of the crimes and highlights the legal system’s commitment to addressing such serious offenses.
According to a post on Northamptonshire Police’s Facebook page, Tosin Dada, 34, and Solomon Ibukun Adebiyi, 39, were found guilty of raping a 17-year-old girl despite their claims of consensual sex.
The trial, which concluded last week, saw the jury unanimously convict both men of three rape charges each.
They will remain in custody until their sentencing on October 25, 2024.
