The 58th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, held on November 20, 2024, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, celebrated the best in country music.
The event featured a variety of performances, including rapper-turned-country singer Post Malone and rising star Jelly Roll.
Malone and Chris Stapleton opened the show with their duet “California Sober,” while Jelly Roll impressed with a collaboration with Brooks & Dunn on their gospel-inspired song “Believe.”
Megan Moroney, winner of New Artist of the Year, dazzled with her performance of “Am I Okay?” Shaboozey also made waves with his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” and several other memorable duets included Kelsea Ballerini with Noah Kahan, and Thomas Rhett with Teddy Swims.
Chris Stapleton took home three major awards, including Single of the Year and Song of the Year for “White Horse.”
Morgan Wallen, despite seven nominations, did not attend.
Other highlights included a tribute to George Strait, featuring performances by Lainey Wilson, Jamey Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, and Chris Stapleton, as well as a moving tribute to Kris Kristofferson by Ashley McBryde.
Throughout the evening, artists like Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Carrie Underwood, Kacey Musgraves, and others delivered powerful performances, rounding out an unforgettable night celebrating country music’s finest.
