Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s Los Angeles home was broken into on Valentine’s Day, according to a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation. The break-in involved ransacking and broken glass, though it is unclear at this time whether anything was taken. No further details are currently available.
The incident coincided with the arrest of three individuals in Beverly Hills, suspected of being involved in burglaries by South American crime rings. These arrests followed a vehicle chase and crash near Rodeo Drive.
Earlier in January, the Beverly Hills Police Department made five arrests in connection with burglaries across California, including cities like Glendale, San Marino, Los Angeles, and Bakersfield. While these arrests were not confirmed to be linked to South American gangs, at least one suspect is Colombian.
It is unclear whether the break-in at Kidman and Urban’s home is connected to these broader criminal activities. Additionally, another recent celebrity burglary involved French football star Olivier Giroud, whose home was targeted in early February, with significant jewelry and other items stolen.
South American crews have been linked to a series of high-profile burglaries across the U.S., including the homes of several NFL and NBA stars, with multiple arrests made in Ohio and New York this year. Notably, the homes of Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and others have been affected. Both the NFL and NBA have issued warnings to players regarding these break-ins, some of which have occurred while athletes were away for games.
