Unidentified armed assailants attempted to seize control of the military armoury, but were successfully repelled by Security Forces.
President Bio emphasized the importance of ongoing vigilance and urged citizens to stay indoors while Security Forces collaborate to apprehend the fleeing assailants, prompting a nationwide curfew.
The President reaffirmed the government’s commitment to peace and security, expressing unwavering determination to safeguard Sierra Leone’s democracy.
