The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has brought three charges against Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, known as Cubana, for allegedly misusing the Naira.
Cubana is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, April 17, before Justice Kehinde Ogundare at the Federal High Court in Lagos.
This development follows similar charges leveled against Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, for the same offense. Bobrisky was recently sentenced to six months in prison with no option for a fine.
The EFCC, in a statement to the press, revealed that several celebrities are currently under investigation and may face charges soon.
The commission reiterated its commitment to enforcing the law impartially, stating, “We will continue to pursue offenders vigorously, and the public should be aware of the legal consequences of financial misconduct.”
