Nollywood veteran Zack Orji has given an update on his recent health challenges, including multiple brain surgeries and recovery.
His ordeal began with a collapse on December 31, 2023, leading to hospitalization in Abuja’s National Hospital.
Following two successful brain surgeries, the 64-year-old actor required further assessment abroad.
While recuperating, false rumors of his death spread on social media, prompting swift denials from Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria.
Orji later traveled to the UK for post-surgery evaluation, expressing relief in a recent interview with Channels TV, where he clarified his condition, emphasizing the reckless nature of spreading false news.
Reflecting on his recovery, Orji recounted challenges in recognizing visitors due to the surgery’s impact but acknowledged his wife’s pivotal role in aiding his recovery, particularly when he regained awareness of the date.
Despite these trials, Orji remains focused on his health and appreciates the support of loved ones during this challenging time.
