A woman and her mother have been apprehended for allegedly conspiring to sell her baby for N450,000 in Nkwere, Imo State.
The young woman was caught by a local vigilante group and subsequently paraded, along with the nurse, the intermediary, and the last person seen with the baby.
It remains uncertain whether they have been handed over to the police at the time of this report.
