Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis Police Officer convicted of George Floyd’s murder, has been discharged from a Tucson hospital after being stabbed 22 times in prison.
His attorney, Gregory Erickson, confirmed improved health and stated that Chauvin has returned to prison for follow-up care.
The assailant, John Turscak, carried out the attack in the facility’s library, as per charging documents.
