ABC has revealed that the upcoming seventh season of Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Station 19 will be its last, allowing producers to create a fitting conclusion.
The series, debuting in 2018, follows the lives of firefighters at Seattle Fire Station 19.
Despite its cancellation, ABC president Craig Erwich commended the show’s impact and upcoming farewell season, including its milestone 100th episode.
Shonda Rhimes, the creator of Grey’s Anatomy and executive producer of Station 19, expressed gratitude for the memorable journey on Instagram.
The cancellation coincides with ABC ending another spinoff, The Rookie: Feds, while The Good Lawyer, a spinoff of The Good Doctor, was also scrapped earlier.
