Briton Alex Batty, who went missing under mysterious circumstances during a family holiday in Marbella six years ago, has been located in France, according to prosecutors.
At the age of 11, Alex disappeared while vacationing with his mother, Melanie Batty, and grandfather, David Batty, who were restricted from being with him due to domestic issues.
Despite initial expectations of returning to England in 2017, they didn’t, prompting police inquiries suggesting they might have left Spain for Melilla, Morocco.
Alex’s grandmother, Susan Caruana, had previously speculated about the family adopting an “alternative lifestyle” and eschewing mainstream education for him.
