Ekiti chief and Guinness World Record aspirant, Sanya Atofarati, successfully completed his 120-hour challenge, aiming to establish a new Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon Watching Television.
The event, initiated on December 27, 2023, concluded on January 1, 2024, in Ado Ekiti, marked by a jubilant atmosphere with a diverse group of supporters celebrating his achievement.
Atofarati, a community leader and creative artist, targeted breaking the existing 94-hour record held by Fragoso, a web developer from New York since 2016. Expressing confidence in meeting Guinness World Records’ criteria, Atofarati stated that all guidelines were meticulously followed, and the evidence would be submitted for review within the next 72 hours.
