The imminent 2024 Golden Globe Awards was held yesterday, Sunday January 7th, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California.

Here’s a full list of winners for these notable films:

“Barbie” and “Succession” both secured nine nominations, the highest for any movie or TV show that night. While “Barbie” lost the best musical or comedy motion picture award to “Poor Things,” “Succession” triumphed with the best television drama honor. Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, and Matthew MacFadyen from “Succession” also claimed acting awards.

Despite not winning its nominated category, “Barbie” earned recognition with the cinematic and box office achievement award. Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” won best original song. The other half of the Barbenheimer phenomenon, “Oppenheimer,” received eight nominations and secured the best drama motion picture award, defeating competitors like “Killers of the Flower Moon” and “Maestro.”

Christopher Nolan, director of “Oppenheimer,” along with actors Robert Downey Jr. and Cillian Murphy, and composer Ludwig Göransson, also received Golden Globes. This ceremony marked the first Golden Globes since the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s dissolution due to scandals, with Dick Clark Productions now managing the event.
