Joyce Randolph, who brought Trixie to life in ‘The Honeymooners’ in the ’50s, has passed away at the age of 99.
Her son confirmed the news, stating that she died peacefully in her sleep at her New York City home.
Randolph, the last surviving main cast member of ‘The Honeymooners,’ faced health challenges related to old age.
In the iconic series, she starred alongside Art Carney, Jackie Gleason, and Audrey Meadows, contributing to the show’s enduring legacy.
After ‘The Honeymooners,’ Randolph, who originated the role on Gleason’s earlier shows, transitioned away from acting, emphasizing family life with her husband Richard Lincoln Charles and their son Randolph.
