Actress Lynne Marta, known for her roles in films like “Footloose” and “Joe Kidd,” has passed away at the age of 78 after battling cancer.
Marta played notable characters in various TV shows, including “Love, American Style” and “Days of Our Lives.”
Her last on-screen appearance was in 2004’s “American Dreams.”
Sadly, her death follows that of her ex-partner, “Starsky & Hutch” star David Soul, who died on January 4 at the age of 80.
Marta is survived by her sister, MJ, and her cat, Mr. Peaches.
